Katiuska. Her name resonates to mystery, intrigue, and adventure. A powerful soprano, she has a voice that beckons the emotions of all who hear her.

Born on the island of Tenerife, Canary Islands, she holds dual citizenship: USA & Spain (Canary Islands). Katiuska has lived in many parts of the world since her early childhood. Educated in England, Spain, and the Canary Islands, she speaks and sings in multiple languages.

Katiuska has traveled throughout Europe, Asia, Oceania, Polynesia and America. She currently resides between Hawaii (USA) and Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.

Katiuska’s life is music. She says she was a singer when she was born and remains a singer today. She has performed in Europe, Asia, Oceania (New Zealand and Australia), Polynesia and the USA. While Katiuska’s focus is on the future, many of her musical influences are drawn from the past. Her musical mentors have been Elvis Presley, Mel Torme and Billy Holiday - to mention just a few.

Katiuska’s vocal appeal is her magnificent soprano voice, and the emotions that fuel her music.

"My destiny is simple,” says Katiuska. “I sing because I was born to sing. I share my voice with the world. My voice is a gift, and I use it to open frontiers for many, as a humble Ambassador Entertainer. I want to make
people happy, but at the same time I strive to create paths to understanding, to share my soul with those I meet. I enjoy teaching by singing. This is my mission in the world. I am, and will always be, a singer.”

I view with awe how Destiny has ridden the range of my life. It has directed me to ports unknown, urged me to bathe in the life of those I visited, insisting that I eat the fruits of differing cultures and forced me to inhale the bare truth of happiness and despair that all cultures have to offer.

I was born in Tenerife, the Canary Islands, lived in Africa for part of my childhood, was educated in England and Spain, and traveled endlessly throughout Europe, America, Oceania, Asia & Polynesia. Destiny, that rascal, eventually directed me to my Hawaii, indeed the Pearl of the Pacific and the treasure of my heart (as my islands are in the Atlantic). I reside now in Honolulu, Hawaii (USA) & Tenerife, Canary Islands (Spain).

My life is music. I was a singer when I was born and remain a singer today. I was trained in diplomacy, speak multiple languages and am a freelance Spanish-English/English-Spanish translator and interpreter. I have worked among the Native Americans, Native Hawaiians and Europeans.

Funny, Destiny: It is still pointing its finger at me, laughing aloud with delight- "You still have many adventures to behold, many paths yet to walk, much more of life to engage."
